Sonny John Moore (n. Los Ángeles, California, 15 de enero de 1988, Los Ángeles, California) más conocido como Skrillex, es un productor de música electrónica de los géneros dubstep y electro house, además de haber sido vocalista de la banda de post-hardcore From First to Last, entre los años 2004 y 2007.1 2
Como productor, destaca la implementación de Ableton Live. En noviembre del 2011, Skrillex fue nominado a cinco categorías de los Premios Grammy, de los cuales ganó tres, Mejor Remix por «Cinema» de Benny Benassi, Mejor Grabación de Dance por «Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites» y Mejor Álbum.
A él se le adjudica el hecho de que la música dubstep haya alcanzado gran popularidad en los últimos años. Ha tenido una colaboracon importantes con varios DJ en remixes de canciones conocidas, como Kaskade en la canción de Lick It, con Benny Benassi en Cinema y con AVICII en un remix de Levels
